The fact is.....
Thanks to the volunteers and local veterinarians, The Sterile Feral can and has made a
difference in the lives of hundreds of cats and other animals in our community.
However, nothing is ever FREE. The cost for supplies is very high. We rely strictly on
donations to operate our facility. As more people become aware of our program we find
ourselves growing. As we grow, our needs grow. We continue to need cash donations
for food and supplies. The more we have, the more we can do.
The Sterile Feral is a non-profit organization and your donations are tax deductible.

WHERE DOES YOUR MONEY GO?
These are just examples of what your donation will do for The Sterile Feral.
Many of these items are at special pricing because we are a nonprofit organization.
Of course we do have many other expenses that are not listed
such as vet bills for sick animals, medication, and surgical supplies.

$1 - 4 cans of cat food
$5 - 5 bags of cat litter
$10 - 1 large bag of cat food
$25 - 2 rabies vaccines
$35 - 2 50 lbs bags of dog food
$50 - neuter/spay of one cat
$100 - neuter/spay of one dog
$150 - 30 canine heartworm tests
$250 - 30 feline leukemia/FIV tests

kitten chow, cat chow, cat toys, dog and puppy chow, dog treats, dog houses, and pet
taxi's.

Rome Floyd County Recycling Center: Donate cans, paper/cardboard
and plastic and ask them to apply them to The Sterile Feral, Inc. Account. A
check is sent to us quarterly for these items.

Sterile Feral Thrift Store:
Our thrift store accepts good quality household items, furniture, appliance, toys and
baby items that are sold on advertised sales. Please call 706- 232-2418 for pick up. If
it is a small amount of items, please leave in the area outside of the door with your
name and address so that we can send a donation letter.

Purina Weight Circles:
We collect weight circle from the side of the bags for dog
and cat food. These are sent into the Purina company
and we are sent coupons to purchase more food upon
there redemption. They can be mailed to:

I would like a warm bed while I am waiting for my forever home. The floor
here at the shelter is hard and a Kuranda bed would enable me to have a
soft, elevated bed to lie on during long nights. Some of my friends already
have a donated bed, but I don't have one yet...
